I was working with a guy today who became a business man even though his Dad was a business man who physically abused him every week. The child mind is sharp and understood that it appeared “business people” had power and used that power to abuse, while appearing to never be abused in return. My client obviously became a business man, who abused his power….until he realized that he had become what he hated because of how his child mind was wired to find safety first, regardless of any other factor.

I can tell who was abused the most in any given room I enter. The biggest, most abusive and most corrupt gang on this planet is government and the child mind (which is 9 times more powerful at processing than the adult mind) sees this instantly…..so guess where most people want to end up working? And most people believe they decide their life path based on wants, preferences and dreams……..when they’re only picking the safest gang to be a part of because it’s smarter to make friends with the bully than to punch the bully in the face. The child mind will always sell us out if we don’t eventually adult up and do the right thing instead of the safe thing. Child based adaptations to fear work really good to keep us alive as children but they’re disastrous to bring with us into our adult lives. It’s time we became adults instead of finding shelter with the bully and becoming what we hate.
