What I Ate Today………….

Many people often stop myself or my wife, simply to ask us what we eat. The belief must be, “if we can eat like them, we can be healthy (or in shape) like them.” Unfortunately, mimicking what a healthy person eats doesn’t work because it leaves out “how they think!”. How we think (as a healthy couple) is what determines what we eat. If you don’t think long term, you won’t eat healthy. When you think day to day or hour to hour, you’re always going to eat poorly and give into the addictive substances that our handlers purposely import into our communities. Long term thinking (and success) comes from practicing and flexing the adult ego. Short term thinking (and frustration) resides in the child ego. Healthy living vibrates outward from discovering your true adult power. Adults think long term. Children think short term. There are lots of adults acting, thinking and behaving like children these days of course….and that’s why they’re not healthy.

If someone doesn’t love themselves enough to say no to the things that hurt them, writing down what I have in my grocery cart, won’t have the long term impact they’re looking for. Healthy people think long term, with all monetary resources going toward healthy purchases and services, no exceptions. Unhealthy people think short term, often having no limit on the amount of money they spend on unhealthy products and services, only reserving marginal amounts for healthy endeavors……if any are pursued at all. They never run out of money for smokes, coffee or booze…..but they can’t afford organic. The healthy food in my grocery cart represents a learned mental strength and dominance over a sick society, forged over an epic journey, where much internal exploration had to be put fourth and much pain overcome. By all means, write down what we eat but eating healthy begins with thinking healthy. Thinking is first. Action is second. Here are 10 quick tips so you can start your successful health journey…

1. Most Caucasians do terrible on any carbohydrates, other than vegetables. Cut out all grains, potatoes and rice from your diet and only eat vegetables. Watch the weight fall off.

2. The most effective fat burning device ever tested was sleep, 10 hours per night tested the most effective.

3. Eats lots of fat. Fish oil is the best fat burner. Coconut oil, butter and nuts come in a close second.

4. Don’t call junk food or fast food a treat or reward on a Friday night. If you’re going to poison yourself on a Friday or Saturday night, at least admit you’re doing it. If you ever want to be successful, you must stop lying to yourself. You’re poisoning yourself with junk food, after you get off work, because you’re bored and you forget how to tell yourself what to do with your own time, other than to sedate. Start there and kick the lying to the curb. Look the truth in the eye and learn from it. Maybe make a life that’s not so boring or maybe do something productive with your time, in order to work toward some long term adult based goals.

5. A big fat gainer is coffee. Coffee on an empty stomach is the worst way to consume it. This is when coffee destroys the body. If you’re going to drink it at all, drink a small cup after you’ve finished a healthy breakfast. A healthy breakfast won’t be picked up at the same drive thru where you picked up your coffee. Again, just stop bullshitting yourself. Life gets easier when you stop the bullshit.

6. If you leave the house in a day, without your healthy meals pre-made, and expect the death dealing fast food outlets to magically feed you non toxic food, you’ll never be healthy. Period. End of story. Unless you pack your own healthy meals yourself, you’re dead in the water.

7. If you drive a car that’s worth more than $10,000 and you use it to pick up toxic garbage at a fast food drive thru, you should be wearing a t-shirt that says, “I have my priorities backwards and that’s why my life is backwards.”

8. Stop talking about the out of town specialist, the next pill, the next surgery, the next medical test, the counselor, the coach, the guru, the trainer, God, your genes, the government plan, the insurance company, the charity services etc etc. No one is coming to save you. It’s just you. Stop blaming and start taking responsibility. Stop outsourcing to others, what you need to do yourself. No one is coming to save you and people are tired of you always talking about how someone else is going to save you from you.

9. If you’re sick, it’s not because your mother didn’t pack enough medical drugs in your lunch as a kid. Your sickness, no matter what it is, isn’t there because you have a medication deficiency in your blood. Your missing food, water, sleep and exercise in your blood. That’s what you’re missing. Wake up before you don’t wake up.

10. The most famous Olympic coach in the world once said, “do you know what 3rd place tastes like?” and his athletes said, “What?” and he said “Cake, third place tastes like cake!”. You need to decide what you love more. Do you love yourself more or do you love the unhealthy junk more. Do you want to see yourself achieve your full potential or do you want to see your waistline growing until your pants explode. Why wait to be the best you can be?
