The drive to perform in a “perfect way” no matter the cost to yourself is often a subconscious drive acquired through certain religious teachings. (either directly from the religious institutions themselves or through media, stories of friends etc)
Today you often see people placing themselves last and literally killing themselves to keep up the facade that they’re perfect or that their life is perfect etc. (more women are under the pressure to do this than men) When you’re told stories as a child that an invisible man is in the sky who will judge you against a near impossible set of rules or you’ll be cast down to hell, you’re subconscious mind will never forget the main theme of that story. The same source of these stories also tells us of a mentor who will suffer along with you and how suffering (fighting who you really are and what you were really designed to do) is something that can win you favour with this mentor and the entire kingdom in general.
People are literally killing themselves trying to make sure they get into heaven and the funny thing is that if you interview most of the people suffering like this, they usually say they don’t go to church or even believe in such things etc but they also have no explanation what so ever why they work all day trying to be perfect…………even when it’s literally killing them financially, spiritually, physically etc. These people are literally “dying to fit in” and it needs to change.
We see this too often in the female gender, as we often see huge efforts placed fourth to impress the “GUY in the sky” with their perfection. Plastic surgeries, extreme dieting, over exercise, stimulant addiction (fat burners), cosmetic procedures, starvation etc. If interviewed many people fall back into the old saying “I’m doing it for myself” but it appears to me to be a pattern of subconscious mind exposure to a belief system that tells people they need to be perfect or a “MAN” will judge them………and cast them down. We need to stop making our focus the pursuit of being perfect for others. I’m done with it personally.
Weight loss and health is about turning away from such simplistic control systems that bring pain, dysfunction, disease and our worst lives. It’s time to make the change into a more elevated way of thinking that rotates around not judging yourself or others. Kate Winslet just started a movement against plastic surgery in Hollywood because it’s unnatural and such patterns of thought dismpower women by mutilating their bodies and natural function. Why do you think all the plastic surgeons you know personally are men? Don’t get me started on that one. Ya, you can find a female surgeon on the Internet but do you know of one? Just a bunch of men abusing women and dressing it up as good for them. Surprise…surprise.
