The Day I Decided I Wanted It All………

I just started living in a way where the goal is to be wealthy, healthy and to also have full control of every hour of my day. I’m starting a little late in life. I should have started 20 years ago……….but it’s better late than never. It took the words of one very powerful financial teacher to unlock my wealth potential. I was in fact personally self sabotaging my own success because I believed that being “rich”, “smart” and “healthy” didn’t match and was an insult to the movement. Although I have more than the average person. I’m not rich and I don’t control all the hours of my day. Being healthy, wealthy and having full control of your time should have always been the goal but like all humans, my fear got the better of me. I was afraid to rise up to my full potential on all fronts because the better you are (across a wide range of categories) the more you get attacked in a society ripe with underachievement, gov love, stagnation, victim-hood and mediocrity.

It could be the scariest journey I’ve ever undertaken, to start investing….with extreme wealth as the target. It’s easy to be your worst and to play it safe. I did that from age 20-30 in regards to drugs, alcohol, steroids and all the negative role modelling that I acted out in my life. That negative role modelling of course was force fed to me through corrupt government and media channels. The message was always the same. Take the easy road of addiction, stagnation, negativity, lost potential and broken dreams. Be one with the herd. Be like everyone else. Drink coffee, get a job, get married, drink wine, vote, complain about your life, repeat. Embrace the safety of the biggest group, where everyone is high, drunk, medicated, distracted and in perpetual crisis. You’ll never feel alone because misery loves company. I turned my back on that life but I discovered later in life that I never really turned my back on it all the way.

If you’re just starting out, let me give you one sentence of advice. Go for it. Being a rebel isn’t about drinking another round of shooters at closing time, a bar fight or wrapping your car around a tree. Being a rebel is about being the absolute best you can be. First get your health in order with Paul Chek’s book “How to Eat, Move and Be Healthy” and then start with Robert Kiyosaku’s book “Rich Dad, Poor Dad”…….and then just keep going. It’s time to put it all together. Don’t be ashamed to have everything just because you know the attack will come. Don’t let their shame of success become your shame. When they criticize you, they’re showing you their limitations, not yours. Dare to have it all and face the attack, like you’re standing in front of a blast furnace. Where it like a badge of honor. Are you ready?
