Step by Step – How To Be Healthy, Toned and Disease (6)

If you can please, don’t read this unless you read ALL the parts of this series in order……….or you may be prone to develop some odd ideas about what I talk to my clients about.

Today I start summing up. I hope all my readers can join me during a free seminar I’m giving January 23rd, where all the ideas I reviewed in this series are expanded on in full. Please call 613.932.4766 to register at no charge. Members and non-members are welcome. This seminar is a prerequisite to a seminar on The Curing of Cancer I’m giving in February.

The first step to getting healthy is looking at yourself in the mirror and coming to terms with the idea that certain historical religious views about how your body operates may be having an impact on how you perceive yourself………..in terms of you believing you’re a good person or a bad person.

Just click here to watch this 16 second video clip from the Hollywood movie titled The Da Vinci Code. Religious symbolism is everywhere in our society and you don’t need to go stand in church every Sunday to get exposed to it. That clip from the movie The Da Vinci Code shows a person who is devoted to his religion, whipping and flogging himself at the end of every day. (in front of a “Jesus on Cross” icon)

This flogging is a symbol of many beliefs religious programming is famous for.  For example… 1) that the body itself and the person who owns the body are not worthy of love unless they’re placed into a state of suffering 2) suffering  is the path to a respectful existence and eventually the people who suffer the most enter heaven with the greatest ease and 3) the body must be punished for being a perpetual sin production machine – enjoyment of life must always be curtailed with guilt or suffering.

Even when you enter many hospitals across Canada, “Jesus on the cross” style symbolism is everywhere……….just reminding people of how suffering is supposed to be perceived by our general population. The act of suffering is a concept that a person should get very used to, if they’re going to frequent our conventional health care system. The church sees the body as a sin production machine and the medical system sees the body as a genetically flawed organism. Both institutions also sell suffering as the way to healing that faulty body.  Some religions and most conventional medical institutions are built upon the same foundations. Those institutions can only exist when people give up their decision making ability to those entities (voluntary dis-empowerment), plus the same people repeat what ever those institutions state (without question) and of course both sell suffering as the path to a better existence. It’s all how you look at it.

So not only do historical religious ideas often impact how you feel about yourself, you could also be prone to repeat many ideas that hurt you because of the system of education you’ve been exposed to. You may have also been told what to do for so long that you may forget how to decide important issues for yourself.

(repeating + a complete reliance on others + thinking you’re not worthy of body love and only worthy of body disrespect = you having a hugely difficult time just trying to do the simple things you need to do in order to be healthy)

What this potentially looks like in motion is a dieter who really wants to eat good food and who really wants to start living a healthy lifestyle, just self sabotaging themselves at every turn. After the decision to make a break for it is made the old programming often comes to the surface to remind that person that they may not be good enough to deserve the good life or the enjoyment of their physical body……….because the good life involves so many sins like pride, lust and just basically having an enjoyable time on the planet. (who are you to have a great time when you should be suffering like a particular savior did)

The subconcious programming of self sabotage can also come into play where suffering (body disrespect) is sought more than pleasure because pleasure is a sin and suffering means you get into the VIP line to heaven. There is no suffering in treating the body well with exercise and organic food…….and therefore those healthy habits can often be rejected because of the mind’s subconscious programming to seek only things that hurt the body. Sticking a vegetable in your mouth or your children’s mouths isn’t hard. What’s hard is avoiding the guilt that comes with enjoying your body and treating it with respect.

If you manage to convince yourself you’re worth it and that you can live your best life without guilt you may also be prone to start repeating the medical view that the body is a walking genetic time bomb just waiting to go off. That is just one dis-empowering piece of propaganda the medical community likes to advertise to people so they never take indepedent control on their health.

If you repeat one piece of propaganda (like the “disease is genetic” myth) you are prone to repeat anything you’re told by the newspaper, the doctor or the government etc.  Once you repeat all the dis empowering propaganda shovelled around by the mainstream media………you’ll be running to “others“for help because all the propaganda centers around you not being able to control your own destiny.  First they convince you that “you can’t” and then they step in with the advertising that “they can“……….and the majority of people start a stampede to the line up at the suffering store because they stopped thinking decades ago. Same as in the school system. The old game of “we know” but you “don”t know” so come talk to us and we’ll let you know what to do with yourself.

So the first step to getting healthy has nothing to do with a diet or an exercise program because most people are taught to not be comfortable with anything positive happening in their lives. You need to sit down and seriously consider these questions if you ever want to start a diet and stick to it.

1.  Are you prone to choose options that hurt the body (body disrespect) as opposed to choosing options that love the body? I know you most likely don’t go to church and think my talk on religion doesn’t effect you but if you’re hurting yourself and disrespecting your body…….and you can’t seem to stop it………..where do you think that destructive programming comes from?

2.  Do you repeat anything the media throws at you? Hint….people who “repeat” all sound the same…….they talk about their doctors telling them that getting their organs removed is scheduled soon, that the surgery will make them healthy, that they need calcium from cow’s milk for their bones. that whole grains are healthy, that daily aspirin will make their heart work better, that vaccines will increase their immunity, that fruits and fruit juices are healthy, that getting educational degrees that can’t get them a good paying job is a great way to spend the first 20 years on the planet, that raising money for drug companies who poison us is great community work, that raising money for diseases with foods that cause those diseases is a noble calling etc etc…..just all the ideas that make no sense if you think about them for a couple seconds.

3.  Are you always relying on others to take care of your life for you? Do you control your immunity or is it vaccines? Do you control your education or is education the job of the government? Do you control your behavior or is that the job of the anti-depressant pill? Do you control how well your marriage works or is that the job of your counselor? Do you set your own 10 commandments or do you just live someone elses’? Do you earn your own income? Do take care of your health or is that the job of your doctor? If you lose your job, do you run to yourself or do you run to the government? Do you complain or do you take action? Do you entertain yourself or is that the job of the TV? If you want something, is the government the first idea that comes into your mind? Do you make yourself happy or do you tag your happiness to what other people do for you or think about you? How much dependence do you have on yourself as compared to relying on “others”?

The more you choose body disrespect, suffering and reliance on others……..the harder it will be for you to lose weight and get healthy. You need to choose body love, enjoyment without guilt and reliance on yourself for health to materialize in your life. In the next post I will review what a day of body love looks like.
