Robert Kiosayki (author or Rich Dad Poor Dad) had two Dad’s to learn from. One was his biological father, a government school teacher, who had very limiting views about wealth and how success was made in one’s life. That was the “Poor Dad” of the book. One was his best friend’s Dad, who taught Robert how to become wealthy and wise. Robert’s best friend’s Dad was the “Rich Dad” in the book.
Poor Dad often told Robert that ,”I can’t be rich because of you kids” and Rich Dad would say, “I need to be rich because of you kids.” It all depends on your mind set and what strategies you use to approach your problems.. Poor Dad would often say to work hard, go to school, get good grades and get a good job with lots of benefits. Rich Dad would say that school teaches you nothing about money and that’s why there are lots of smart poor people (with good jobs) who never get their finances in order and who never stop struggling for their entire lives.
Most people sabotage their lives in two majors areas…….health first and money second. Because humans are afraid of judgement for standing outside the crowd, they often ignore easier ways of living, especially if less people are going that way. In our society the majority of people unfortunately are diseased, overweight and struggle financially. This means being exactly like this registers as “safe” and “secure” inside the subconscious mind. You won’t stand out or be judged if you blend in. Overcoming self sabotage has to do with learning how self sabotage works and then applying proven techniques so you can literally rewrite your genetic programming….so you don’t feel the need to blend in with the herd of mediocrity. Becoming your best is all about getting comfortable with being healthy, wealthy and wise…..even though most others are afraid to go there. I’ll be reviewing these methods in Cornwall during my weekend workshop in September. Knowledge is power. Power up. Power to the people.
