Friend of mine, who consumed alcohol most nights of the week with his wife, arrives home to find out that his wife has moved on with some other man…….who’s also a big drinker. Is alcohol a factor? You better believe it.

Alcohol activates the flight or fight portion of the brain, which has no ability to consider the long term consequences of its’ actions. Alcohol not only activates this part of the brain (the limbic system or R-complex) but alcohol also inhibits the prefrontal cortex, the part of the brain designed to “check” our behavior with a series of rational and logical contemplation’s. The prefrontal cortex is designed to review our ideas before we act them out and say “should I really being doing this and what are the long term consequences of these actions?”. With the prefrontal cortex off, this review of our impulses never happens. So think of this for a second……think about the human sex drive, which is extremely strong and irrational at the best of times, even with the prefrontal cortex on. Now imagine that part of the brain off and the human sex drive completely unbridled. This means that a form of self centered hedonism is given the never ending green light inside the mind. This why “drinkers” or “drunk people” are always overly sexual.

That’s what alcohol does to the brain and people who drink alcohol wonder why they continually step into one bucket of shit in life and then quickly step out into two more. At this point in time, as a self sabotage coach, I can only say one thing. If you consume alcohol, don’t be surprised when perpetual chaos is your life long dance partner. One drink of alcohol is shown to shut down the prefrontal cortex for up to 6 weeks. That means after one drink, the worst part of your humanity is active for 6 week straight, even if you’re completely healthy in those 6 weeks, after that one drink. Connect the dots. Alcohol doesn’t “relax you”, it’s there to make sure you always stay less and stay drowning in perpetual crisis. To enslave the masses, alcohol is a mandatory tool down on the human farm. Your government doesn’t endorse alcohol because of economic “supply and demand”. Your govrnment endorses alcohol because for the corrupt ruling families to stay in power, the slaves always have to stay walking shit shows. Awaken or perish.
