This is a series that helps you on your journey to weight loss and health by asking certain questions. Today we keep it short and ask the question, “Do you know the difference between products and services that provide complete economic benefit as opposed to products and services that provide unilateral economic benefit?”. One product will provide benefit for everyone, including the planet. The other provides a benefit only for the seller (just profit) but no direct benefit for anyone else……..as the product or service promotes dysfunction in the rest of the population and the planet.

How about if you purchase a product from Wal-Mart but instead of the product being $10 it’s sold for $5 because the manufacturer operates where the waste oil from production can be dumped into the ocean instead of being recycled. If that recycling cost had been worked into the product price (a benefit to you – so we can all live longer on the planet) it would be $10. In the end you get a cheap product for $5 but the planet paid the other $5 and because you live here, you have to be as polluted as the planet you live on. That’s just basic math.

You can only think like this if you promote a deep love for yourself and the nature inside you. If you can pollute and hurt yourself, there isn’t much chance you will not pollute or hurt the planet. No respect for the nature inside of you = no respect for the nature outside of you. This is why self love must be taught to all children. 

How about if the products you purchase are packaged in plastic instead of glass or the company uses it’s profits to fund charity drives that suppoort companies who actually make you more sick? What about if the product has no benefit for you what so ever……like toothpaste that increases tooth decay, teeth fillings that poison the rest of your body, exercise advice that makes you gain weight, fast food that poisons you and your family etc?  Would you notice? Are you sure? 

The point here is that your best life is always tied to products and services that offer complete economic benefit. Your worst existence will always be tied to products that offer unilateral economic benefit. You need to learn to spot products and services that will make you healthy as opposed to products and services designed to manifest your worst life. I work with people all day who don’t have the time and money to live their best life because they’re too busy creating their worst life. You can’t afford to help yourself and hurt yourself at the same time. That’s expensive and a recipe for bankruptcy on all levels but some people make this cycle their full time occupation.
