So as my friend started to accumulate millions of dollars many times in his life, all of a sudden (out of no where it would seem) he would lose all his money and become poor once again. As soon as he would acquire wealth, we would see him literally destroy that wealth. And I don’t mean “waste money“…….I mean destroy the money. He spent money like it was an Olympic sport. Being poor was were he felt most comfortable, at home and among equals….so every time he tried to reach escape velocity out of the “poor, sick and dysfunctional tribe“…..be would come back around and crash land, like a boomerang. The harder he threw the boomerang, the faster it flew back and hit him in the head.

When you move from a bigger tribe to a smaller tribe………which will always happen when you pursue success, the smaller tribe will always come with massive waves of mysterious fear based emotions, because our genetic programming always told us that the bigger tribe (and the tribe that knows us) is always the safest. And this is the story of my friend who has lost millions many times over, during his young lifetime. The solution is to know where the fear comes from, to ignore it and then to move into the smaller (less populated) tribe anyway. There is no security in being less, being with the bigger tribe and pursing a life of mediocrity…..just because it produces less fear in the mind. It’s a trap. Pursue your best life and move into the smaller, more wealthy, healthier and more successful tribe. Knowledge is power. Power up.
