When someone lets safety, security and the desire to please others drive their decisions in life…….things can get very messy a little longer down the road. When we don’t allow our soul to power our earthly GPS in life, because we just want everyone to like us (so we’re not vulnerable to attack or criticism) eventually that spiritually dishonest endeavor will bring us increases in mental pain because our souls were never meant to pick from a line up of pre-made and prefabricated occupations within the corrupt ruling pyramid of tyrannical control. So as the safety and security based benefits wear off (and they wear off quickly), the pain starts to rise up and we can become addicted to coffee, alcohol, junk food, unhealthy rituals, screen distraction, narcotics, medical drama, crisis and many other self destructive behaviors……as a way to sedate to our spiritual pain.
