When someone introduces themselves first by name but quickly explains each disease, personal problem and affliction they suffer……..what they’re really saying is, “don’t expect too much from me but I’ll take your energy. I will take your energy yet I will never give anything back to you in exchange.” These types are known as psychic vampires and there are entire books and lectures made about them. When someone meets me and says “Hi, I’m Jim. I’m a diabetic” I already know this is going to be a one way energy suck, from me into them.
Energy vampires hunt down people who are empowered and try to infect them with learned helplessness. As someone who is empowered tries to soar into being something “more”, the energy vampire will try to reduce your battery packs, in a way that says, “Don’t leave me here sitting in my own psychic filth. If you become more and I’m too inept to change, then I will be alone.” If you’re too compassionate you’ll end up giving more energy away than just listening to the vampire’s stories of despair and learned helplessness. If you’re too compassionate and new to this game, you’ll put these psychic vampires on your back and try to carry them with you to the top of the mountain, out of pity and that’s what they want…..because they know you’ll never be your best dragging their dis-empowered asses up the mountain with you. If anyone wonders why I’m extremely harsh with people who wallow in their own misery on this page…..this is why. As a truth teller we all know that energy vampires are there to suck us dry and they must be cast out immediately before their infection of learned helplessness spreads to others.
