The Magic I Use To Make My Clients Healthy

When I work one on one with clients, who commit to making healthy changes with their lives, the topic of magic always comes up. The magic points I often discuss with my clients are written below.

1. The magic idea that their disease has nothing to do with what they eat and everything to do with bad genes, bad luck or bad timing. Do you know what genes are discovered to do? They’re discovered to react to the environment they are placed within. Genes don’t control us, we control them. This video explains.

2. The magic idea that saving money for retirement, without looking after your health, is somehow a logical way to prepare for the golden years. If someone saves $1.5 million dollars for retirement at 70 years of age but dies at 69 because they can’t control what they place in my mouth, they’ve failed in an area that was completely within their control. Control what you can control or perish in a society that tries to drown the public daily in a tsunami of poison. Our culture poisons the mind as much as it poisons the body. Avoid both and prosper.

3. The magic idea that a glass of wine every night is healthy, when I’ve never met a healthy person who drinks wine every night. Are we really to believe that someone who already eats a fully organic diet at every meal, could improve their health by adding wine into their daily habits, as opposed to leaving it out? Wine and all alcohol is used in our society to sedate us to our pain but there’s one draw back. When you sedate to pain, as opposed to dealing with it, the painful portions of your life get worse because you’re not dealing with it. Alcohol advertised as “healthy” is a concept that sounds good because it allows us access to one of the world’s most popular sedative addictions without guilt but if there’s one steady philosophy that will help someone become their best it’s the concept of, “if you want to be successful and healthy, you first need to stop lying to yourself“.

4. The magic idea that you need milk and yogurt for calcium when the cows themselves get their calcium from grass. Cow’s milk is hand picked and advertised as healthy to the general public because the people who have organized this nutritional ambush understand that cow’s milk is actually very unhealthy. Ruling unhealthy people is easy. Ruling healthy people is impossible. Those last two sentences are there for anyone who doesn’t understand the motivation behind lying to the public about what they’re eating.

5. The magic idea that toxic medications improve health. The conventional medical system is actually the #1 cause of premature death in North America. If you place poison in your mouth, in an attempt to get healthy, don’t get confused about why you never get healthy.

6. The magic idea that a coffee and muffin is an OK breakfast. If you’re going to outsource your food choices to companies that flavor poison with other poisons, so the original poison tastes like the best day of your life, don’t be surprised that you stay sick. Eating at a fast food restaurant at any meal is a symptom that you don’t love yourself enough, to not place poison in your mouth. Eating poison is a self love issue, not a food issue.

7. The magic idea that working a job you don’t enjoy, for 35 years, doesn’t effect your health and doesn’t create the potential for mind numbing addictions or accelerated disease caused by those mind numbing addictions. Alan Watt explains here………

8. The magic idea that the government represents the people when the government passes all laws without the consent of the people in anyway. Here Larken Rose explains………

9. The magic idea that just exercising 3 hours per week is going to trump the remaining 165 hours per week of unhealthy living. You need a full court press regarding health improvement. Beating oneself up in the gym because someone eats garbage outside the gym doesn’t work and in the end that cycle is part of bigger issues dealing with self love, self respect and self care. Flogging oneself in an attempt to force the body to operate unnaturally is a process based in self attack, self loathing and self murder. These habits of self hatred need to die if someone wants to get healthy. Self love and self care are the answer. If the body is constantly attacked and punished, as a way to change it, the body will eventually SAY NO. Dr. Gabor explains this concept………..

10. The magic idea that someone else is going to solve their problems and save them from themselves. This of course is a true epidemic in our society, where dis-empowered people are constantly looking for someone else to take the parental role for them and solve their problems. All the answers come from within, not from outside of ourselves.

Magic is a big part of my coaching strategy and the reason I talk about magic should be obvious. My job as a health coach is to make my clients less dependent on magic, and more dependent on themselves, so they can find their passion and start living their best lives. The real magic lies within the client themselves, which has been subverted and inhibited by a culture that relies on the dis-empowered and dysfunctional citizen for its’ existence. My job is to reawaken this inner magic so our society morphs into what it was always designed to be.  Self love, self care and self respect are the foundations of all life success, including optimal health.

Thanks for that! I’ve read that one before I think, but it’s good twice. Most of it doesn’t apply to me, but some of it does. I am 33, married with 4 kids and am about 60 pounds overweight. I have always yo-yo-ed with weight since puberty, and always the worst when I’m stressed or hating life….duh. I feel pretty trapped right now, exercise feels like a chore and I eat too much. I eat all organic and really high quality whole foods, but too much chocolate and flour and just too much food in general. I Know it’s about self love, but where to start!!!!???

Katie don’t worry. All baby steps. My latest article is a 10 step program that works pretty good for changing in a positive way. Find it and keep up the great work. You’ll get there. I’m not worried.
