When the below phrases are uttered, what’s really being said is……..”I refuse to change!” These are the battle cries of the self saboteur, the person who can’t live the life they want because they’re too busy living the life they don’t want.
1. “Everything in moderation.” – most people who use this phrase only do one thing in moderation and that’s living a healthy lifestyle.
2. “Wine is healthy.” – find someone who drinks wine every night. Take a look. Case closed. Are we really to believe that someone who already eats a large organic salad every night could improve their health by adding wine into their daily routine, as opposed to leaving it out? The answer is obvious.
3. “I don’t like vegetables.” – it’s OK not to like vegetables but if you want to get healthy, you’ll need to eat them. If not, you stay sick and overweight. The truth has no agenda and the truth never changes.
4. “One piece of cake won’t kill ya.” – unfortunately with today’s food supply, one toxic meal of junk can kill people and has, literally. MSG and other poisonous additives are famous for heart attacks, strokes and instant liver failure. Take a look at a person who uses this phrase. They aren’t just eating one piece of cake. The body is a temple, not a garbage dump
5. “You only live once.” – and of course this is always uttered in regards to someone poisoning themselves with alcohol or some other chemical franken food, not fit for a maggot to consume. The truth is that you only die once. You live every day and life is hard enough without a person being sick, overweight and lacking proper brain function because they’re toxic and polluted. Adult up. Make mature decisions. Leave the child life and the child ego behind. Walk into your best life. Stop holding yourself back.
When you hear anyone uttering these phrases, stand clear because most saboteurs try to spread their lack of self control to everyone around them. Stay healthy. Stay vigilant. Health is wealth. Every other measurement of wealth is nothing but an illusion. In order to work hand in hand with your inner saboteur, you first need to see it happening first hand and that’s what knowledge is all about. When and if you hear yourself uttering these phrases, know that you’re sabotaging yourself and then also realize that all self sabotage is based on fear. The fear of change and the fear of the unknown. In order to conquer any fear, one must dedicate themselves to embracing their adult ego and moving past their child based ego. A real adult thinks 5, 10 and 15 years down the road. A child thinks 5, 10 and 15 minutes down the road. One solution to self sabotage is making baby steps toward more adult based behavior in your own life. Think long term, not short term and watch your self sabotage fade away.
