The Ultimate Weight Loss Vitamin – Vitamin L

Love or what is called VITAMIN L,  is an essential nutrient for proper human development. In an experiment recounted on Dr. Mark Hyman’s 5 Forces Of Wellness CD set, two sets of monkeys were both fed the exact same diet. One group of monkeys were not given love and the other group was given love by the caretakers. The monkeys receiving love grew larger, were healthier, had more peaceful moods, had less stress (and body fat) and had less disease.

Unconditional love is the most powerful and nourishing love of all. Think of unconditional love as love without judgment. Sort of like what a dog gives it’s owner or what the sun gives the earth. Unconditional love is constant and never asks for anything in return. The dog never asks it’s owner for anything and the sun certainly doesn’t ask the earth for anything in return.

The opposite of uncondtional love is what is known as “Conditional Love“, which means love is given as long as you do certain things. Conditional love is the most dangerous, destructive and manipulative form of love. Conditional love always acts as a form of control or spiritual slavery.

Conditional love is designed to control how others act. Obviously, conditional love always comes with conditions.  You get loved (and get to heaven) only if you behave a certain way.

Do animals in the wild receive conditional or unconditional love?  How do they possibly survive or enjoy life without all the rules and judgements? Do you think all the rules humans place on themselves are making them love themselves more or love themselves less?

When a bird lives in a cage too long, it gets depressed but forgets why it’s depressed in the first place? The bird gets depressed because the barriers inhibit what it truly is. Every condition, barrier (cage) or rule will make you less and less of what you really are.

What sort of love did Tiger Woods recieve  from his family, his sponsers and the general public this year? What kind of love do some of our major religions preach?  Do you recieve love like the earth recieves love from the sun (everyday no matter what)  or do you get love taken away from you when you don’t take your place in some one else’s web?

How do you love yourself? Do you love yourself only when you weigh a certain amount or when your body looks a certain way? Could you walk naked into work with pride and self love? Given all the plastic surgery today, how do you think we are loving ourselves? In a society that teaches conditional love at every turn, the population ends up judging themselves in the same way.

According to Dr. Donald Epstein, the ultimate definition of wellness is the ability to give and receive love.
