There has been more books written about weight loss and health in the last 10 years than in the 100 years before that yet the health of the average person continues to plummet. Are we short of knowledge regarding healthy choices or is there something else going on? Is it that the people eating the bad food don’t know the food is bad? Are the unhealthy people not noticing how unhealthy they feel or that they’re gaining weight? Is our weight gain and disease epidemic genetic and therefore beyond our control?

The truth of the matter is that our health is not based on our genetic code. (something we can’t control) The truth is that our weight and our health are completely within our control. What’s occurring is that we’ve been conditioned to think otherwise and therefore we believe wholeheartedly that we have no power to change our health destiny. Think about the genetic causation idea of disease that we’re taught as children. The genetic causation of disease states that eating healthy or eating unhealthy has no impact on our final health destination. Does this sound logical or rational?

The genetic myth states that it doesn’t matter if someone smokes or not because their cancer risk is determined by their genes. If you eat donuts or vegetables you get the same disease. Take for example something like MS or cancer where the genetic myth is used frequently regarding the explanation of how each disease develops. The issue that should be obvious there is that every cell has the same genes yet the diseases only occur in certain areas of the body. If the diseases were caused by bad genes, wouldn’t the diseases occur everywhere at once…….given each cell has the same genes? Even under the most basic analysis, the genetic causation of disease should be sending up some red flags.

The genetic myth also states that certain diseases are genetic yet our genes are the same from the very day we’re conceived. If our genes are the same from the first day we’re conceived and genes cause disease, why don’t we have the same diseases from the first day we’re born? Basically the genetic myth is a fabricated belief system that works by dis-empowering the patient into believing that their own habits and beliefs have no impact on their personal health destiny. When a person believes that their health isn’t determined by what they eat or how they treat themselves they become very prone to choose the habits and foods that provide instant gratification, which of course are the foods are habits that make people overweight and sick.

So not only does the genetic fib prime people to eat terribly but when those people get sick, they blame their genes and ask the medical system for toxic medications and mutilating surgeries…….to add into their daily routines along with their terrible food choices. Guess who invented the genetic causation of disease? Can you see the business plan in action yet?

Eating bad will give you one set of diseases. Eating bad and then adding in toxic drugs and surgeries isn’t going to make your health any better. The information people are basing their health decisions on today are not sound and that’s being gentle with what’s really occurring. The genetic causation of disease also allows the medical system to keep failing people, while the patient insists on blaming themselves for the medical failures. If a surgery or medication initiates severe side effects, which are detrimental to the health of the patient, the medical professional parades the genetic myth out onto stage so the patient can get on the job of blaming their genes (blaming themselves)…….even though the person who really caused the dysfunction is standing right in front of the patient. Getting you to blame yourself for all the failures of the medical system is the primary reason the genetic fib exists. It shifts blame to the victim and allows the perpetrator to stand right there, continually making suggestions that will further degrade the health of the patient. (which again will be blamed on bad genes)

Understanding nutrition is what my first seminar is all about. The second seminar, which I always give weeks after the nutrition seminar is on self sabotage. Self sabotage is the act of executing false ideas in your own life, seeing the bad results of those false beliefs and then continuing onward with the disastrous cycle because of an inability to think independently. One false belief system is the genetic myth for example. There are many more, all designed to keep you running east looking for a sunset with your health. (and most other areas of your life as well) These cleverly crafted and highly effective dis-empowering belief systems are unleashed onto an uninformed public.

When we know things are going bad for us (with our weight, health or anything else for that matter) and we can’t muster the fight that’s necessary to change course……….self sabotage is definitely in play. Come learn about proper nutrition in September with me live in Cornwall Ontario Canada and then in October come learn about self sabotage. In order to live your best life you must learn the basics regarding healthy eating (and healthy living) plus you need to be aware of what self sabotage is, what it looks like and how to reprogram for success.
