As children are sent to school, they learn that the time from 9-3 is when government or an external authority figure is in control of their thoughts, time and actions. As the child travels home and sits in front of the TV, the child learns that 4-9 is when the media entertains their brain. The screens take care of their emotional state for them, pumping in the fake emotions needed to fool the nervous system. Don’t think about your day, that’s covered. Don’t think about generating your own good time emotions, the media has that covered. Don’t think at all, it’s all covered. Work, entertainment, work, entertainment. That’s the cycle imprinted into the young psyche…….and for a good reason.
It usually goes on so long that a person feels out of sorts doing anything else. Someone else is always in control of the entire day. Orders come from the outside and are reacted to. Each child is taught to be a receiver of data, never the generator of their own journey, outside the lines set by the state/media control grid.
So when does the child do what they want to do and develop their own innate talents, outside the influence of government or media? Most kids never get there because that’s the design of the system. Work, screen entertainment, work, screen entertainment. This minor league system of a 9-3 authority directed work day, ending with watching a screen, acts as the farm system for the 8-6 adult work day that also ends with watching a screen. This is how humans are milked of their energy and creative potential, by forces they know little about.
