In order to control a large group of diseased, repressed, enslaved and rebellious people…….you need to keep them distracted with various activities and sedated with various mind numbing chemicals as well….especially when they’re taking a break from their slave based existences. Everything the slave does on their down time must focus their attention away from their miserable lives and must also sedate their nervous systems, so they never feel the pot of water they’re already sitting in. To accomplish this you must always advertise that sedation and distraction are the ultimate bastions of freedom, while true freedom must be advertised as a threat to the sedation and distraction based lives the slaves are indoctrinated to fall in love with. Sound confusing? It’s all about giving the slaves unlimited freedoms in the areas of sedation and distraction and ZERO freedom in the areas that really count. Unlimited freedom with sedation and distraction…..zero freedom in every other category.
