With addiction, there is always more than meets the eye. It appears that on a spiritual level, addiction brings about a stalled evolution…..the inability of a person to mature emotionally. It appears in my clinical practice that caffeine is a major evolution stalling substance. When I run across a person who’s quite old yet their behavior is quite “young” (immature), there’s always some form of addiction in play……..smoking THC, alcohol, caffeine, nicotine, sugar etc. This young stage of “not planning for the future”, “pleasuring self” plus a general “f^%k it attitude” has its place in our early evolution but if that evolution stalls because the addiction……..you end up having a child mind living out an adult life, which is extremely destructive to the person, the family and the community at large. As is often the case with spiritual, physical and mental dysfunction………..coffee (caffeine) ranks extremely high on the scale of narcotics that destroy human potential, while being falsely marketed as “benign” or even “healthy”. A boxer will tell you that the punch that hurts you the most is the one you don’t see coming and not many people are aware of the caffeine ambush that our human farmers set up for us everyday, through corrupt media and corporate channels.
