Talking to a nice lady last week who asked for some relationship advice. Her boyfriend is “the jealous type”. She’s looking for some peace between herself and her partner. I ask one question “does he drink coffee” and she says “no, zero coffee?” and then I asked another question, “does he drink caffeinated colas or diet colas” and she says “that’s all he drinks”. And I said “that’s a big problem and frankly regardless of who’s infused with caffeine, it activates a part of the brain that doesn’t have the ability to care, protect or love another. In fact caffeine activates the jealous, paranoia and rage part of the brain. The part of the brain that’s activated by caffeine is the central hub for all negative, violent, irrational, illogical and aggressive emotions.” I told her that in order to bring the relationship back into repair, the man needs to stop ingesting caffeine in order to reactivate the part of the brain that can rationally navigate this very dangerous time in their lives. In order to start healing the relationship both partners need to break from each other immediately, stop all toxins that activate the stupid parts of the brains and then come back when the dumb parts of their brains are OFF. That takes at least 3-4 weeks clean of all toxins, especially caffeine.
