The Evolution of Morality and Intensity Addiction

A nice man, who recovered quite a bit from his wild days, was offered free unconditional “sex” by a married women. He’s married and the woman who offered him free uncommitted sex was also married. This appears somewhat standard practice in this day and age, people living unfulfilling and unsatisfying lives simply grasping at what ever will excite them, with no real intentions of changing those unfulfilling lives. Most marital affairs these days are exactly like binge drinking alcohol. Sure it takes your mind off things for a bit but you wake up in a much worse situation and your life is dramatically more difficult. People who are addicted to drama, chaos and crisis tend to embrace the marital affair. This sort of personality reflects that when this person grew up, their living environment was always full of intense crisis and instability. This is actually called “intensity addiction.” More on that in another post.

Anyway, so this nice moral man thought he better speak up before the free sex offer became too forward and too obvious. He said to the lady, “I’m a moral person so I don’t engage in any sort of deceit. To lie to another, is to lie to oneself. Even if I was single I wouldn’t do this because you’re married. I only engage in such activity if there’s clear sailing and there are no entanglements. Sneaking around isn’t what mature adults do.” What was odd my friend said, was the lady’s reaction. She started to insult him and berate him. My friend simply finished the story with, “I knew she’s wasn’t a good person in the first place because anyone who cheats on their husband will always cheat on you when you’re their partner as well.” I was completely shocked that my friend said that, given his past as a soulless party boy for much of his life. He must have been evolving when I wasn’t looking. The men are indeed getting stronger. I was impressed. Well done men. There’s is hope yet. Keep rising.
